Over seventy percent of our Flat-Rate customers already have our traditional 1+ long distance service.  We encourage the rest of you to select ShoreLink as your worldwide long distance carrier. The cost to use it is 4.9¢ per minute (billed in 6 second increments) from your home or business telephone in the lower 48 states to any other telephone in the lower 48 states.*  Since there's no ShoreLink monthly fee or monthly minimum, it is a GREAT stand alone service or the perfect companion to one of our Flat-Rate accounts.

• INBOUND PERSONAL 800 SERVICE

Inbound (PERSONAL) 800 numbers (for calling home) cost only 6.9¢ per minute state-to-state. ShoreLink's fantastically low rates are available from home and business 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

• CALLING CARD 

The Traditional Long Distance CALLING card is available upon request with the Traditional Long Distance Service.  If you do not have a flat rate per call account with us the traditional calling card is the only choice you have.  The cost to use it is 13.5¢ per minute (not prepaid and does not expire) from any telephone in the lower 48 states to any other telephone in the lower 48 states.  There is no surcharge or monthly fee but as is the case with most calling cards a pay phone company may charge you up to a 50¢ fee to use their pay phone. Calls made with this card are billed on your Long Distance account bill.

*PLEASE NOTE: The 4.9¢ rates above refer to state-to-state calling. Calls made from point A to point B within your home state (Intra-State) cost more. For instance, in both Maryland and Delaware, ShoreLink in-state toll calls are 5.9¢ per minute.  Be sure and inquire about your states' in-state rates before signing up for ShoreLink or for that matter any long distance carrier.
